Aldersgate Youth (ages 12 and up)
Aldersgate Youth are passionate about Christ and the mandate to
"...go ye therefore and make disciples."
Our youth are mission-oriented and ready to help where ever they can. We believe that Jesus revolutionized the world through something we often take for granted: the power of the youth. We've created an environment where every youth involved is known, cared for, and loved. Aldersgate youth are made up of two age-specific community groups for high school and middle school students. If you're a youth, we invite you to step into the world of youth power where you matter to God.

Aldersgate Youth (ages 12 and up) Primary Focus:

  1. We direct our youth towards a deeper relationship with Christ. We teach our Youth to the love of God through word and deed.
  2. We direct our youth towards the Church and cultivate within them a love for the church.
  3. We direct our youth to their community and city. We train, empower, send out, and support our youth in loving others through act of service, and sharing the good news through intentional, relational evangelism.
  4. Aldersgate youth host fun and exciting events where youth feel welcome because they belong!

For the "Younger" Crowd

WHAT TO EXPECT (Toddlers - 5th grade)

At Junior Church, we believe that Jesus loves children and that the Gospel is for young as well as old. Every Sunday, toddlers through 5th graders experience a fun, engaging, and structured classroom time during the worship service.
The classroom time includes an opening activity, teaching time, discussion, and game. Every aspect of this ministry is intended to support parents in teaching their children the good news about Jesus Christ.

Junior Church values your child's safety. Before joining Junior Church, every prospective volunteer completes a thorough application and consents to a background check, and then undergoes our safe sanctuary training process.

CHECK-IN
Each Sunday, you will be greeted by Junior Church volunteers and asked to check your children in prior to walking them to their classroom. We use an electronic check-in system that makes this a quick and easy process.
You will receive two labels: one for each child to wear and one for you to keep during the service. At the end of the service, to ensure the safety of each child, we will collect your label and make sure it matches the child(ren).
